TULIP:An acronym used to summarize the Five Points of Calvinism, which were codified in the Canons of Dort by the Synod of Dort in 1618 and 1619, which met to address the points raised by the Arminians of that day. Calvinism is known by an acronym: T.U.L.I.P.
